Since this story takes place in Bartholomew, you wanna get your characters accurate! Here's a list of common Bartholian traits and behaviors that your Bartholian will most likely have:
- The Bartholian population tends to have more males than females. This makes the males very territorial over the females. Not that the females are weak and let themselves be treated like territory. In fact, they’re really treated like royalty because of their ability to carry offspring.
- Most Bartholian females actually enjoy having tons of children. They’re more likely to find a suitable mate that way, and she leaves a thousand little pieces of her around to keep her legacy going. When she dies, they’ll still be there to drive everyone crazy!
- Most males are crazy and/or stupid. That’s not a lash out at guys. They’re territorial, there’s too many of them, and just because Bartholians are so screwed up anyway, they don’t have very good guidance from the very beginning. Most of them have the minds of horny prepubescent boys, just more violent and bloodthirsty in nature.
- Spawning means everything to Bartholians. It gives them a little army of their own that has to love them for giving them life in the first place. Not only that, but they’re also obsessed over leaving a piece of them behind when they die. What way better than genetic material?
- Bartholians, no matter what sex, tend to be very small. This is probably due to improper breeding, as well as overpopulation. The fact that most of them can’t afford to eat only adds to this, not only because of the starvation factor, but also the eating whatever they find whether it be garbage or what factor too...
- Bartholians don’t care much for money. They like food, and they like goods. Bartering is the main system here. Got cash? Too bad. How ironic that those who are rich will seem so poor…
- All Bartholians tend to be very childlike in nature. They'll throw tantrums, fight with each other over stupid things, and are easily entertained by petty objects. They're like violent six-year-olds on steroids...
